SUMMER READING GROUP: “Queer Futures?”

29 May

The Pittsburgh Philosophy Network is happy to announce our Summer reading group theme: Queer Futures?. Throughout the summer we will be looking at gender, embodiment, and futurity through the lens of queer theory. But don’t worry if you are not familiar with queer theory, we will begin by contextualizing these readings with key texts in feminism and biopolitics. As always, participants are encouraged to join us when they can, and pdfs will be available online for free. Important note for those who have attended in the past, the group will be moving from Monday nights, to Tuesday nights (8:00pm). But, we will still be meeting at the Bloomfield Crazy Mocha.

Edit: Pdfs of the readings can be found: HERE
