Leavitt Pearl (me!) tomorrow (Friday) at 3:00pm. The event will include a two papers contextualizing the German phenomenologist Max Scheler for the twenty-first century, followed by a response by me. The event is titled The Phenomenology of Max Scheler: In Relation to Critical Theory and Metaethics and is being held at Duquesne University’s Simon Silverman Phenomenology Center, in the Gumberg Library.

This Winter and Spring, on alternating weeks we will examine key early modern philosophers, and more recent continental theorists who have used, interpreted, or rethought these earlier traditions.
